Do pheromones work? To be quite honest, it wasn't that long ago that I had no idea what pheromones did or what they were or how they influenced not only the animal and insect world, but also humans. So what is a pheromone; or more to the point, a human pheromone?

I did what any inquisitive member of the human race would do in the 21st. century; I looked up the word pheromones on the internet. Man, was I blown away! Do different pheromones have the ability to induce sleep?

People that have slept in my bed (some reportedly being insomniacs) say that they fall asleep easily on my bed.

The mattress in my bed is not the most comfortable and my room is pretty warm, so I cant come up with any reasons.
Since pheromones are pretty concentrated in our beds, is it possible that they induced sleep in these individuals?

I haven't though of this before but I think there is something to this. One presumes that the person you are sleeping with was attracted to you in that way, so there may be a sense of comfort there.
